Corrupted Dread - VimJam

READ DESCRIPTION - VimJam2020

A critical error causes you to be accidentally teleported in the middle of the corruption zone, fight your way out and make it back to the lab.

How it related to the jam:

Samples are collectables, that's easy to explain. I have a feeling the "there and back" might be a little harder to understand. Originally, the ending was involving making it back to the lab, but due to time restraints I wasn't able to complete the ending fully. So instead I added a weapon upgrade system, but there's only one per level, requiring the player to go "there (to the collectables) and back (to upgrade their weapon)". The reason I point this out is because I'm worried that it might go over peoples head, and people might try and call me out for not following the theme. I hope you understand, and have fun playing my short little game :)
